A more relaxed life living in a home by the beach is one dream that I have for us. Or it could be like some kind of a rest house perhaps where we could enjoy weekends together as a family or where we can just spend days to relax and recharge before heading out back to the city and go on with our daily routine called life.

I just thought about it as I came across these funny t shirts which are actually fit only for adults. I have been looking for shirts that have really funny notes printed on them. It could be a good gift I can give to an old friend of mine who will be celebrating her birthday later this month. She is also one of the funniest friends I have ever had come to think about it. During our high school days, it would be really fun to hang out with her during our free time from school work and hear her funny stories. If my little kid would have met her, I think he will also say she is is funny too mom.

Yes a power nap will do wonders to a busy mom at home. It is often a luxury to some if not most moms contrary to what most people think that stay at home moms are so comfortably living and staying at home. Sometimes that is not the case when you have a little child to watch and care for with no help or nanny.

Nap time or which I call more often as power nap to recharge can bring back some much needed energy to moms at home. Now I am giving myself that much needed nap time. Hope the little guy won’t wake up just yet.

I think I have to start window shopping for gifts for moms. I was thinking already of giving my mom a dish casserole to replace the one that got broken by one of my nephews last year. As for me, if my husband would ever get to read this one though, I wish for a baking dish that I saw at an online store for shopping personalized gifts for special occasions like Mother’s Day.

There are other personalized gifts for mom like a mugs, gift basket, jewelry, frames, totes, cups, towels, tumblers, recipes boxes, and a lot more gift ideas to choose from. These are personalized gifts so it gives a special meaning when you give this to your mom as a gift. Plus the thought and love that comes with it, it would really mean something special to her and even for me since I am a happy and blessed mom too!

I know walking inside the mall is not that ideal but at least I am walking. Still it seems better than just sitting at home in front of my laptop working. This summer, I walk as far as much as possible from the little kid’s school on my way home until I can find a ride on the rest of the way. But since it can be so hot already even still at an early hour in the morning, the sun’s heat can be too much for me. Lately though I gave that a solution by bringing an umbrella that I can use so that I can still walk without necessarily being exposed too much to the burning heat of the sun. My husband and I also try to walk at some part going from our home to our little kid’s school to fetch after the summer class.

I really hope that adds up to more than 45 minutes of walking each day. I also do some physical moves and exercise inside the house as much as I can. I try not to stay put too long. Moving and walking around, stretching even dancing or jogging in place just as long as I am able to move more often compared before. It will hopefully help aside from that 45 minute walk that my doctor asked me to do no less than 4 times a week.

He is here in the country for a vacation. It was a nice surprise to see him again after so many years. More than a decade has passed since we personally saw each other. I remember he used to play golf as a hobby sport with his office mates at one of the golf clubs here in the city.

He was quite in a hurry during that visit and spent just less than an hour here at home. Time was not enough for us to keep on chatting and talking about life since we last saw each other. Since he was in a hurry, he left behind a bag that has some clothes plus two golf balls that look similar just like the logo golf balls at GolfBox.com that I found last week. I gave it to my dad today so he will just be the one to give it to my cousin. I really hope to see him again.

I remember he used to offer to bring me to try playing golf way back then but after trying to swing a golf club, I told myself this sport is not for me but only for my cousin.

Now I don’t know what I have eaten or drank that made me really extra sleepy. My husband was even asking if there is anything that we have eaten earlier that made us both really sleepy. Well I cannot figure it out. So what we did was just sleep until we could manage getting up for a late lunch at a new restaurant in town. That was just the motivation we needed in order to push ourselves to get out of bed and out of the house on a hot summer afternoon.

It would be interesting to find myself working in a restaurant. I love food and I love to eat and dine at restaurants. I did consider working for a popular American restaurant that opened its first branch here in our city almost a year ago. Dining there often has given us a chance to befriend most of the staff and at one point I got interested in joining their team. I am just not sure if my age will still qualify though. That may be something that I would have a difficulty in since they are hiring younger people into their team. Yet if given the chance still, it would be fun to work in a restaurant.

Hubby had to uninstall the Firefox browser which I am most comfortable using and he had to install the new Firefox version which I am still getting used to. Now I just discovered my  bookmarks in the FF browser are gone. There are a few recent articles that I wanted to look into now as I need it for reference. Now I cannot remember the links anymore. Starting back to zero. Anyway life goes on even with my bookmarks gone. *wink*
